Some of the most deprived populations in England are registered to GP practices within Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care System (ICS), with two specific Places being the second and third most deprived in England.
In their efforts to reduce health inequalities and meet Core20PLUS5 targets, Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB), supported by Health Innovation North West Coast, brought together NHS, voluntary and community sector (VCS) and local authority partners to explore new ways of supporting people with respiratory illness who are living in fuel poverty.
This project received funding from NHSE’s Innovations for Healthcare Inequalities Programme (InHIP).
