Review and reduction of opioids at these levels is complex and often challenging with low levels of reductions achieved according to published literature.
The Pharmacist in partnership with patients achieved significant reductions in opioid levels (some opioid free), improved patient safety and patients health. Significant NHS drug cost savings were realised and the Pharmacist found enjoyment and meaning from the clnic.
