This project involved developing an STP wide antimicrobial stewardship group, with members from primary care, secondary care, CCG, and community providers to address antimicrobial stewardship across the provider interface and standardise antimicrobial strategy and guidance across the STP.
The first meeting had many very useful discussions and areas of duplication in work were identified where we can be smarter in sharing resources. We now have a rolling action log where we can ensure that actions can be tracked and completed between meetings.
